Many people love Christmas so much that they turn their house into their own little Christmas sanctuary. Some people put up multiple Christmas trees, some put as many Christmas area rugs or decor around the house, and some create one room in the house with a winter or Christmas theme.
Interior expert Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen created his own indulgent Christmas sanctuary in the ‘throne room.’ Laurence based his design in the bathroom because of the concept that the only true peace is found in the ‘throne room.’ Laurence used products from the Van Gogh and Michelangelo collections from Karndean. He used the soft white styling of Karndean’s White Washed Oak and the contrasting charcoal black tones of Karndean’s Umbrian Nero. These two floors combined create a striking backdrop to his unique space.
Besides the flooring, Laurence used some creative winter decor. He used two snowy white owls, tree branches, and a small mound of fake snow. He also placed a few leaves throughout the room to go along with the winter theme.
