In collaboration with Constellation, United Renewable Energy and Georgia Power, Mohawk Industries has installed a new solar array at their Summerville manufacturing facility. The new solar panels will generate approximately 628,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity with zero greenhouse gas emissions annually.
This renewable energy source removes the same amount of greenhouse emissions produced by 90 passenger vehicles or about 40 homes over the course of one year, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency data.

Recently, a wide range of residential flooring from Tarkett was featured in National Geographic Channel’s new show “Cabin Fever.” The episode that premiered on March 3rd, 2015, centered on construction of a log cabin in Minnesota, and it utilized different FiberFloor, laminate, and luxury vinyl tile from Tarkett.
In the kitchen, the FiberFloor was used to create a beautiful and practical design. The flooring is designed with woven fiberglass, foam, and tough resilient wear layers that stand up to water, moisture, scuffs, scratches, and indentations. Laminate flooring was used in the living room, hallway, and one of the bedrooms. The laminate is designed and engineered with 100% premium hardwood (cherry and oak). Also, the laminate is made for easy installation and it resists indentation. Luxury vinyl tile from Tarkett was used in the bathrooms and laundry room. The 16″ x 16″ tiles were installed with grouting to give the rooms an authentic tile aesthetic.
All of the flooring used in the home are from the same color family, so the flooring flows seamlessly from room to room. All of these beautiful floors provide beauty and durability, and you can have any of these floors in your home as well.

Having a great floor is one of the most essential parts of any home, and there are so many different choices when it comes to flooring. A great floor can be made even better with a beautiful or fun area rug, but lately there has been a new trend in the floor design world. Floor pillows or floor cushions are becoming more popular by the day. Floor pillows come in many different sizes, colors, shapes, and designs. They add a bit of comfort or personality to the room. They are great to rest your feet on, use as extra seats when company comes over, or even as chairs for your pets.
Many people make their own floor cushions and it is not hard to do. You can find any DIY floor cushion instructions online. However, if you don’t want to make your own then many home decor stores sell them now. I have even seen them sold at large name brand stores you can find in any mall. Floor pillows are a great addition for bedrooms or living rooms. If you have a game room in your home or maybe a movie room, then you can get a few floor cushions to add some more personality to the room. Floor cushions can add accents to the room or they can go along with the rest of the color scheme, but always remember that floor cushions are designed to make the room more creative and fun.
Bigger and better has been the motto for almost everything in the world today. Most people wish they could use that motto in the small rooms of their homes. Many people will try painting the room different colors, rearranging the furniture multiple times, or even changing the decor around the window. However, using the right flooring can make a room seem bigger than any of the other interior design methods.
