Armstrong Flooring received the 2014 Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence for its reclamation program for vinyl composition tile. The award was presented to the company by the Pennsylvania Environmental Council. The Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence is the highest Pennsylvania statewide honor bestowed upon a business for environmental performance and innovation.
Armstrong recycles reclaimed vinyl composition tile, which they get from multiple manufacturers. They recycle the reclaimed VCT into new flooring products. Armstrong has been recycling reclaimed vinyl composition tile since 2007.
